As a student, I pledge to: 

1. Adhere to the uniform policy daily. 

2. Synergize with my teachers and all adults in my school. 

3. Be proactive by exhibiting safe behaviors at all times. 

4. Put first things first to complete all of my assignments at school and at home, to the best of my ability, every day. 

5. Own my actions, be reflective, resilient, and communicate with all staff members seeking first to understand & then to be understood. 

6. Begin with the end in mind, to come to school prepared with my learning materials every day. 

7. Think win-win by learning from my mistakes and always being persistent. 

8. Be responsible for the care and appropriate use of technology. 

As a parent/guardian, I pledge to: 

1. Talk with my child about his/her school activities every day. 

2. Ensure my child adheres to the uniform policy daily. 

3. Provide a quiet place for learning at home and encourage good study habits. 

4. Participate in Family Engagement Nights and attend teacher/parent conferences. 

5. Sharpen the saw by making sure my child is healthy, well-rested, attends school regularly, and on time. 

6. Limit screen time that is not school-related. 

7. Synergize to actively develop a partnership with my child's teachers and volunteer when possible. 

8. Begin with the end in mind to support the school staff in their efforts to carry out the school's mission and goals. 

9. Put first things first by protecting my child's learning time by getting them to school on time & avoiding early checkouts. 

10. Be proactive and notify the Front Office when my address, email address and/or phone number changes. 

As a teacher, I pledge to: 

1. Explain academic expectations, instructional goals, grading, and promotion standards to students and parents.  

2. Synergize to keep parents informed of their child's progress through the use of report cards, progress reports, test scores, portfolios, conferences, phone calls, emails, Messaging apps, & positive referrals. 

3. Inform students and parents of the Code of Conduct and school expectations.  

4. Provide information/training sessions for parents and opportunities for volunteering. 

5. Provide motivating and interesting learning opportunities.  

6. Provide enrichment and intervention opportunities for students. 

7. Teach grade-level standards, using learning intentions and success criteria.  

8. Help prepare students for assessments and to be leaders. 

9. Maintain high expectations for both academic work and behavior. 

As a principal/administrator, I pledge to: 

1. Create a welcoming environment for students, staff, and parents.  

2. Ensure a safe and orderly learning environment for all students.  

3. Communicate to students and parents the school's mission and goals.  

4. Synergize to provide partnership opportunities for parents and community members.  

5. Provide the appropriate professional development and training for teachers and parents.  

6. Act as an educational leader in the support of our instructional staff.
